8ridge Art Studio is a bridge between memory and art. Based in Los Angeles, the studio creates hand-painted watercolor works rooted in classical painting traditions.
The studio’s work is organized into two categories: Master Studies and Original Watercolors.
Master Studies are watercolor interpretations created after historical paintings. They are made through observation, study, and translation, allowing classical works to be revisited through the movement of water, pigment, and memory. These works are not prints or mechanical reproductions; each piece is painted by hand on watercolor paper.
Original Watercolors are independent works created from the artist’s own observation, memory, and composition.
Each work begins with observation, then allows water and pigment to move freely across the surface, forming structure through flow rather than control. The practice exists between classical discipline and contemporary perception.
We are not recording what is seen, but translating what is remembered.
