  • All plans are provided in PDF format.

    To print full-size 1:1 drawings:

Set your printer or PDF viewer to “100%” or “Actual Size”

Avoid using “Fit to Page” or “Shrink to Fit”

For plans that exceed standard paper size, use “Poster mode” or similar tiling options to print in sections and assemble afterward

  • Each of our furniture plans is carefully designed and precisely calculated to ensure structural strength, functional clarity, and visual harmony. That said, real-world conditions are rarely ideal—and this is where your woodworking experience truly shines:

    1.      Many components, such as drawer fronts, doors, adjustable shelves, and even hole diameters for fasteners, are drawn based on theoretical specifications. In reality, these often require fine-tuning for optimal fit and function, considering actual hardware and material tolerances.

    2.     Solid wood and sheet materials may expand or contract depending on moisture content and local humidity.

    3.     Tool, material, and hardware availability varies significantly by region.

    4.     Skilled makers across different regions often follow unique local practices or traditional joinery methods that influence how pieces are constructed.

A recommended approach is to read through the entire plan first—this is your foundational document. Go through each component drawing, compare against your available materials and tools, and make thoughtful adjustments to the material list or measurements where necessary. These refinements help increase both your efficiency and your success rate.

And remember—that’s the true joy of DIY: making flexible choices, correcting as you go, and turning imperfections into part of the process.

  • No, please don't.

Here's why: Each plan set comes in two versions: imperial (inches) and metric (millimeters). These aren't just simple conversions. We've adapted the dimensions to perfectly match the common materials and standards in each system. For example, a panel thickness might be 3/4” in the imperial version, but 18mm in the metric version. They're close, but critically different for a precise build.

The SketchUp model is shared between both versions and is purely a structural reference. Its dimensions might not perfectly align with either the imperial or metric PDF plans. Always use the PDF plans for preparing and cutting your parts. They are your definitive guide.

  • While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy and clarity of our plans, occasional errors or oversights may still occur.

Designing and documenting furniture for a wide range of makers—across different tools, materials, and levels of experience—is an ongoing challenge.

We also believe there is always room for improvement: better ideas, smarter construction methods, clearer diagrams, or more helpful annotations.

If you notice anything that seems off—whether it’s a measurement or a graphical element—we genuinely welcome your feedback. Your insights help us make every version better for everyone.
