watercolor paper cabinet(OF005)
This cabinet isn’t for brushes or paints — It’s built for watercolor, from paper to finished piece.
Its structure follows the process, divided into three functional zones.
At the bottom: a row of wide, shallow drawers to keep unused paper flat and organized. Sheets are stored by type and weight, protected and easy to access.
In the middle: a hinged slanted lid opens to form a temporary work surface — a place to sort, stack, trim, or test before painting.
On the left side: a fold-down stainless steel rack for wet paintings. Fresh work can dry here without taking up the drafting table. Once dry, the rack folds back flush against the cabinet — tidy and out of the way.
Up top: vertical slots behind a glass door hold finished pieces. Standing the paintings prevents them from sticking or creasing, a quiet safeguard against rare but irreversible damage.
That’s the logic:
Paper clearly sorted.
Sheets freely laid out.
Wet work gently dried.
Finished art properly archived.
